Montessori Children’s House of Northfield provides quality Montessori education that strives to be inclusive and supportive of all children and their families and creates a community in which children grow and reach their full potential.

MCH is a preschool for children ages 2½ to 6 years located in Northfield, Minnesota. Megan Durkin, who holds an American Montessori Society certification with twenty years experience, is the director of the school.

Montessori Children’s House was founded in 2007 and is licensed by the STATE OF MINNESOTA’S DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES. MCH is working to become a full affiliate of the American Montessori Society. AMS supports and promotes Montessori education by ensuring that its school members have Montessori certified teachers, a full complement of Montessori materials, and “open door” policy for visitors, periodic visits from Montessori specialists, copies of all necessary licenses, and agree to adhere to the AMS Code of Professional Ethics.
